PEA SOUP New & Selected Poems
In one sense, the human experience is a coexistence of what is painful and refreshing, enlightening and evasive, sorrowful and joyful, loving and hateful, deflating and uplifting, harrowing and peaceful, beautiful and vile, and countless other seeming dichotomies. Could it be more than mere coexistence? Perhaps each part feeds off of its polar opposite. Perhaps each is umbilically connected to the whole. One thing is for sure: Making sense of it can be like finding our way in the densest fog (i.e. pea soup).
In his latest volume, Chris Basher (a.k.a. P. D. Kline) moves through the fog looking for flickers of light to show the way. He finds them in relationships both cherished and heartbreaking, in the simplest observations and experiences, and in humor, beauty, and love.
Ultimately, the search culminates at the top of the mountain to where he climbs out of the fog.

Also arriving in 2025!
Ari's Rescue
Meet 11-year-old Arianna. Most everyone calls her Ari. She’s in trouble, trying to swim against some fierce currents in her life: the death of someone she counted on; bullies seemingly everywhere she turns; getting kicked out of school; and continually finding herself torn between hating and helping those who hurt her. Follow her unlikely rescue, which is helped by some of the most improbable friends anyone could have, or admit to having.
The exciting sequel to Finding Chloe is on the way and due to release by summer 2024.
