On August 17, 2023, Mom's Choice Awards officially announced that my first children's book had been designated as its Silver Award Recipient, MCA's highest honor. While we thought the book would be a strong contender, Shawn Gaines and I received this validation with no little excitement. Hopefully, this is a precursor of greater things to come for this "labor of love," God willing. It certainly adds inspiration to initial drafts of the sequel.
