More than fifty children, ages six to twelve, and a number of their parents and family filled the multipurpose room at the Georgetown Boys & Girls Club after school on Friday, October 6, 2023., to meet P. D. Kline and Shawn Gaines. Each child received a free copy of Finding Chloe, autographed by the author and illustrator, as well as other gifts and prizes recognizing achievement in the Club's summer literacy program. It was an exciting program that focused on the joy of reading, the power of imagination, and the potential each young person in the room has to become an author, artist, or whatever they dream to be.
